I had a number of items to discuss with the Dr and each one was dealt with thoroughly and came with explanations and details that helped me understand the what, why, when….. etc. I think it unlikely that any realistic conversation concerning one’s health will be all sunshine and roses but for each item the way forward and likely outcome was clear. I left my appointment feeling satisfied that my concerns and questions were given the attention they merited - in the context of the limited time any such meeting has.

Doctors & nurses were very helpful. BUT its so difficult to get my prescription, it should not be this difficult, if the hospital says I need a cream I should be given said cream. Is DO NO HARM not adhered to. NHS times are difficult but this way of working is inexcusable.

It is almost impossible to access front line appointments through the current process. Once through and an appointment is obtained, the service from medical professions is appropriate however it is the ‘getting the appointment process’ that needs improving.

Nurse who I saw showed lack of compassion, did not listen, told Me I had nasal congestion even when nose completely clear, asked me to turn my back to window and lift my top up so she could listen to my chest as there are houses there! Did not close blinds. When I finished my consultation the door had been opened at some point as it was open and nobody had knocked. I know it is Friday but I feel everyone who I saw was in a hurry to get home. When I asked about why my repeat prescriptions (asthma inhalers) were not in my prescription she said she didn’t know but didn’t offer advice on how to get it resolved.

Dr Javed Khokhar gave me incorrect and false information, as well as represcribing me the incorrect dosage of medication. He also gave the impression that he was not bothered and didn’t care during my appointment which was about making sure I had the correct medication. He was laughing under his breath at me. I think this is very unprofessional in a role that it’s all about the care of patients.

I came in as a walk in with chest pain. The receptionist team were fantastic, really attentive and made me feel at ease but allso took my concerns seriously.
