Important update about our autumn 2026 flu vaccination clinics
We were told at short notice that our original flu vaccine order would not be fulfilled as planned. This is due to a national manufacturing and supply across the country.
Our flu vaccination clinics are planned well in advance, including ordering the vaccines we need. Being told at short notice that our original order could not be supplied has meant we have had to change our planned clinic dates.
We know many patients will already have seen information about our planned flu clinics, so we wanted to let you know about the changes as soon as possible.
Our team has acted quickly and worked with vaccine suppliers and NHS partners to secure replacement flu vaccines.
We have now secured replacement stock. However, the vaccines will arrive later than originally planned.
Our new flu clinic dates are:
New Queen Street Surgery:
- Saturday 17 October 2026
- Monday 19 October 2026
- Wednesday 21 October 2026
- Thursday 22 October 2026
- Friday 23 October 2026
- Monday 26 October 2026
- Thursday 29 October 2026
Stanground Surgery:
- Saturday 17 October 2026
- Monday 19 October 2026
- Tuesday 20 October 2026
- Thursday 22 October 2026
- Friday 23 October 2026
- Monday 26 October 2026
- Wednesday 28 October 2026
- Thursday 29 October 2026
If you have already booked an appointment for a clinic that has been rescheduled, we will contact you directly to arrange an alternative appointment. You do not need to contact the practice.
We are sorry for any inconvenience these changes may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding while our team has worked to secure replacement vaccines and put new clinic arrangements in place.

Who can have the COVID-19 vaccine?
Eligibility for flu and COVID-19 vaccinations is different. This means not everyone who is eligible for a flu vaccination will also be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination.
Where available, patients who are eligible for both flu and COVID-19 vaccinations may be offered both at the same appointment.
