Carers information stand at New Queen Street

To mark Carers Week staff from South Peterborough’s Primary Care Network manned an information stand at The New Queen Street surgery.
Personalised Care Team Lead, Dawn Farey (pictured left) and social prescriber Marie Knapp talked to patients about the local and national support available to those who are carers.
The information event also took place at two other local surgeries including at Yaxley.
Dawn said: ‘The stands were very successful we were able to identify new carers that were not registered the practices and provide them with carers packs we had made up. We also met with patients that needed support with their health and wellbeing, which created new referrals for the Personalised Care Team and Pharmacy Team.’
